Washer Not Spinning or Spinning Slowly
One of the most common calls we receive. Usually caused by a worn drive belt, a failed lid switch on top-loaders, a faulty door latch on front-loaders, or a motor control board issue.
Washer Not Draining
Standing water at the end of a cycle points to a blocked pump filter, a failed drain pump, or a kinked drain hose. Left unaddressed, drainage failures lead to mold growth inside the drum and damage to flooring.
Washer Leaking Water
Leaks most commonly come from a worn door gasket on front-loaders, a cracked tub seal, a loose hose connection, or an overfilling issue caused by a faulty water inlet valve.
Washer Not Starting or No Power
When the machine doesn't respond at all, the problem is usually a failed control board, a blown thermal fuse, a faulty lid switch, or a door lock assembly failure on front-load models.
Excessive Vibration or Shaking During Spin
Violent shaking during the spin cycle is typically caused by worn shock absorbers, a damaged suspension spring, or an out-of-balance drum. Worth addressing promptly — the vibration causes secondary damage to cabinetry and flooring over time.
Washer Making Loud Noises
Grinding, banging, or squealing during a wash or spin cycle points to worn drum bearings, a loose drum spider arm, or objects caught between the drum and tub.
Washer Not Filling With Water
Usually caused by a faulty water inlet valve, a clogged inlet screen, or a pressure switch failure. Low home water pressure can also cause fill issues that get mistaken for appliance failure.
Error Codes on the Display
Modern washers throw error codes for everything from door lock failures to motor faults. Our technicians read and interpret codes across all major brands and know which indicate a real component failure versus a sensor reset issue.
Drum Not Tumbling
When the drum fills but won't agitate or tumble, the most common causes are a broken drive belt, a failed motor coupling, or a motor control board issue.
Mold or Odor Inside the Machine
Front-load washers develop mold in the door gasket folds and inside the drum due to moisture retention. We remove mold, replace deteriorated gaskets, and advise on a maintenance routine to prevent recurrence.
