Oven Not Heating or Not Maintaining Temperature
The most common commercial oven complaint. On gas ovens, a failed bake igniter or a faulty thermostat is almost always responsible. On electric ovens, a burned-out bake or broil element is the typical cause. Inaccurate temperature on any oven type is almost always a thermostat or temperature sensor failure.
Gas Range Burner Not Igniting
Commercial gas range burners that won't ignite typically have a failed igniter, a blocked burner orifice from grease accumulation, or a pilot assembly issue. Gas orifice blockages are common in high-volume kitchens. We clean and test the full ignition and burner system on every gas range call.
Convection Oven Blower Motor Failure
When the oven heats but baking is uneven or temperatures are inconsistent, the convection blower motor has failed and isn't circulating hot air through the cavity. Blower motor replacement is completed on the first visit in most cases.
Combi Oven Error Codes or System Failures
Combination ovens develop failures in their steam generation system, humidity sensors, water inlet valves, and control boards in addition to standard heating system issues. We service combi ovens from Rational, Convotherm, and Alto-Shaam and have the diagnostic knowledge to work through combi oven error codes on the first visit.
Oven Door Not Sealing Properly
A commercial oven door that doesn't seal tightly allows heat to escape, which causes temperature inconsistency, longer preheat times, and higher energy costs. Usually caused by a worn door gasket or misaligned door hinges. We replace door gaskets and adjust door hardware for all major commercial oven brands.
Gas Burner Producing Weak or Uneven Flame
Weak or uneven flame from a commercial range burner is almost always caused by a partially blocked burner orifice or a failing gas valve. We clean the full burner assembly and test gas flow and pressure on every service call.
Pilot Light Won't Stay Lit
A pilot that won't stay lit on a commercial gas oven or range has a failed thermocouple or thermopile. These safety devices shut off the gas valve if they don't detect heat from the pilot flame. Thermocouple replacement is a quick repair completed on the first visit.
Control Board or Digital Panel Failure
Modern commercial ovens with digital controls develop control board failures that cause the panel to go blank, buttons to stop responding, or error codes that can't be cleared. We source and replace control boards for all major commercial oven brands.
