Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services or website of ProFix Appliance Repair ("ProFix," "we," "our," or "us"). By booking a service, using our website at www.profix.us.com, or allowing us to perform work on your property or equipment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

ProFix Appliance Repair provides residential and commercial appliance repair, HVAC services, gym equipment repair, and related services throughout Bridgewater, NJ and surrounding Somerset County communities.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion. Our technicians will assess your equipment upon arrival and provide a diagnosis and price estimate before performing any work.

2. Service Call Fee

A service call fee applies to all appointments:

  • Residential appliance repair: $75 service call fee
  • Gym equipment, HVAC, and commercial services: $99 service call fee

The service call fee is waived in full when you proceed with a repair on the same visit. If you decline the repair after the diagnostic assessment, the service call fee is due at the time of the visit.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All repair estimates are provided after the technician completes a diagnostic assessment on-site. We provide a firm price before beginning any repair work. You will not be charged for work you have not approved.

Prices are subject to change if additional issues are discovered during the repair that were not identifiable during the initial assessment. Any changes to the original estimate will be communicated to you before additional work is performed.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept the following payment methods — please confirm accepted payment methods when booking. Invoices for unpaid balances are due within 7 days of the service date.

ProFix reserves the right to charge a late fee on unpaid balances beyond 30 days.

5. Warranty

ProFix provides a 45-day warranty on all parts and labor performed during a repair. This warranty covers defects in the parts installed and the workmanship of the repair performed.

The warranty does not cover:

  • New failures unrelated to the original repair
  • Damage caused by misuse, power surges, flooding, or other external events
  • Pre-existing conditions not addressed in the original repair
  • Consumable parts such as filters, light bulbs, and similar items

To make a warranty claim, contact us within the 45-day warranty period at Profixrepair.us@gmail.com or (551) 348-7374. We will schedule a return visit to assess and resolve the issue at no additional charge if the failure falls within the scope of the original repair.

6. Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, email, or through our booking platform. We operate 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 2 hours before the scheduled arrival time. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future service.

7. Third-Party Booking Platform — HouseCall Pro

ProFix uses HouseCall Pro, a third-party field service management platform, to schedule appointments, dispatch technicians, send appointment confirmations, and manage service records.

By booking a service with ProFix, you acknowledge that your appointment information — including your name, contact details, service address, and job details — may be processed through HouseCall Pro's platform. HouseCall Pro operates under its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at www.housecallpro.com.

ProFix is not responsible for HouseCall Pro's data handling practices. Your information is shared with HouseCall Pro solely for the purpose of managing your service appointment.

8. Access to Property and Equipment

You agree to provide our technicians with safe and reasonable access to the appliance or equipment to be serviced. You represent that you have the authority to authorize repair work on the equipment and, where applicable, on the property where the equipment is located.

ProFix is not responsible for pre-existing damage to property or equipment that is not related to the work performed by our technicians.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProFix's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair service giving rise to the claim.

ProFix is not liable for:

  • Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages
  • Loss of food, inventory, or revenue resulting from appliance or equipment failure
  • Damage resulting from pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of service
  • Delays caused by parts availability, weather, or other circumstances outside our control

10. Parts and Equipment

ProFix uses new or manufacturer-approved replacement parts whenever possible. In some cases, remanufactured or equivalent parts may be used. All parts installed by ProFix are covered under our 45-day warranty.

ProFix is not responsible for parts ordered at the customer's direction that prove incompatible or defective.

11. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the appliance or equipment and the issue you are experiencing
  • Ensure the work area is accessible and reasonably clear before the technician's arrival
  • Notify us of any safety hazards present at the property before the appointment
  • Be present or have an authorized adult present during the service visit

12. Website Use

The content on www.profix.us.com is provided for informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information on our website. We reserve the right to update or remove any content at any time without notice.

You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our website or services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Somerset County, New Jersey.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
