Fryer Not Reaching or Holding Temperature
The most common commercial fryer complaint. On gas fryers, this is typically a failed thermostat, a faulty gas valve, or a blocked burner orifice. On electric fryers, a burned-out heating element or a failed thermostat is almost always responsible.
High-Limit Safety Tripping
A fryer that shuts off repeatedly due to the high-limit safety has a thermostat that is allowing the oil to overheat, or the high-limit switch itself has failed and is tripping prematurely. We test both components and replace whichever has failed.
Gas Fryer Not Igniting
When a gas fryer won't light, the cause is usually a failed igniter, a faulty thermocouple or thermopile, a gas valve that isn't opening, or a pilot that won't stay lit. We carry ignition components for all major gas fryer brands.
Electric Fryer Not Heating
Electric commercial fryers that produce no heat have either a burned-out heating element or a failed contactor. Both are quick replacements that are completed on the first visit in most cases.
Fryer Oil Temperature Inconsistent or Inaccurate
A fryer that shows the correct temperature on the display but produces inconsistent frying results has a failed thermostat that is reading inaccurately. Thermostat calibration and replacement is one of the most common fryer repairs we perform.
Gas Fryer Weak or Uneven Flame
Weak or uneven flame from a gas fryer burner is caused by a blocked burner orifice, a partially open gas valve, or a thermocouple that is restricting gas flow as a safety measure. We clean the burner assembly and test the full gas circuit on every gas fryer call.
Fryer Pilot Light Won't Stay Lit
A pilot that lights but won't stay lit almost always has a failed thermocouple or thermopile. These safety devices detect whether the pilot flame is present and shut off the gas valve if they don't sense heat. Thermocouple replacement is a quick repair completed on the first visit.
Carbon Buildup on Burners or Elements
Heavy carbon buildup on gas burners or electric heating elements is caused by extended use without cleaning and degraded oil. We clean burner assemblies, test all components, and advise on a maintenance schedule to prevent rapid recurrence.
