Commercial Washer Not Spinning
A commercial washer that won't enter the spin cycle has typically triggered a safety interlock — usually a failed door lock assembly. Other causes include a worn drive belt, a failed motor control board, or a drainage issue that prevents the machine from advancing to spin. We diagnose and resolve on the first visit.
Commercial Washer Not Draining
Standing water in the drum after a cycle points to a blocked pump filter, a failed drain pump, or a kinked or clogged drain hose. In a high-volume commercial operation, pump filters should be cleaned weekly. A filter that has been neglected for months is the most common cause of commercial washer drainage failures.
Commercial Dryer Not Heating
The most common commercial dryer complaint. Gas dryers with no heat almost always have a failed igniter, faulty gas valve coils, or a blown thermal fuse. Electric dryers with no heat have a burned-out heating element or a failed thermostat. All are resolved on the first visit in most cases.
Commercial Dryer Taking Too Long to Dry
Multiple cycles to dry a single load in a commercial dryer is almost always caused by a restricted dryer vent. Commercial dryers in high-volume operations accumulate lint faster than residential dryers. We test vent airflow on every commercial dryer service call and clean the vent system when needed.
Commercial Washer Leaking Water
Leaks from the door gasket, pump housing, or hose connections cause floor damage and can create slip hazards in a commercial laundry facility. We locate and repair the source of the leak on the first visit in most cases.
Commercial Washer Not Starting or No Power
When a commercial washer doesn't respond to any input, the cause is usually a failed control board, a tripped circuit, a blown fuse in the machine, or a door lock assembly failure. We carry control boards for the most common commercial washer brands.
Coin-Op Mechanism Failures
Coin-operated commercial washers and dryers in laundromats develop coin mechanism failures, card reader issues, and payment system problems in addition to standard mechanical failures. We service coin-op and card-operated laundry equipment from all major brands.
Excessive Vibration During Spin
Violent vibration during the spin cycle in a commercial washer is almost always caused by worn shock absorbers, damaged suspension springs, or an out-of-balance load detection system that has failed. In a commercial laundry facility, excessive vibration causes floor and structural damage over time.
